Happy New Year!

Happy 2010!

Geez i can't believe it's a start to another year! How'd everyone go last night? I was at Jawgz' place again this New Year's, Ugly as well, we had a good night, plenty of alcohol drunk ;)

I hope 2010 can bring Folding@Home some more members, more breakthroughs and there is much in the way of client updates to come apparently :) Also, hopefully Aussie Rules Footy also benefits from a good year, with hopefully more members joining and allowing our team ranking to push well into the top 500 teams!

New Year's resolutions? Drop a comment and let us know what you are going to do differently this year or whatever. Me? Well last year it was to shed pounds, and that didn't come to fruition, so another crack at it I think is in order ;)

Fröhliche Weihnachten und ein glückliches Neues Jahr! ('Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year' in German)

Easily my most favourite day of the year (even better than my Birthday), Christmas Day is just fantastic! I had a great day, melon-balling away at a bloody big watermelon, scooping out all the flesh, making a fancy Punch bowl for our nice Punch (obviously). Turned out pretty bloody good too as you'll see in the picture to the right.

Both my PS3s, and both computers are churning away, folding for Christmas! Our Team has had a very good year as far as our ranking progress goes. I'll try and give a bit of a report on 2009 early in January, as well as trying to keep a monthly update going on how Aussie Rules Footy is going.

Anyways, hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and hope yous have a Happy New Year. Let us know what ya did today and plan on doing tomorrow on Boxing Day and for New Year's etc. by leaving us a comment. It'd be nice to here some little stories from our team members ;)

Ahhh, what a wonderful time of year! Staying up late on Christmas Eve, posting on my blog early Christmas morning! Can't wait to get stuck into my presents later today!

I would just like to thank everyone involved in Aussie Rules Footy (team members & power-bill payers!) as our Team has made some real progress in 2008, and i'm glad we are now part of the Top 1,000 Folding@Home teams, that definitely is an effort!

As i've got plans to go away after Boxing Day, the blog might go for a week or so without any updates... bad news I know! lol But I will be sure to pickup the slack when I get back, hopefully flooding with new posts! I'll see how busy the 26th is, and i'll try to make a post or two then that i've been meaning to make.

Anyways I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas, your Friends and Family as well. Have a safe Holidays, whether your travelling around or whatever, and also, have a Happy New Year!!!
